Bark at the Moon 2021 will be a socially distanced event with food, drinks, fun, and fresh air for dogs & their humans. 


  • Each ticket includes admission for one person and one dog.
  • Check-in time will be based on the ticket you purchase.  We are doing staggered entrance times to allow for social distancing at the event.
  • Please purchase a ticket time slot you will be able to attend.  Each ticket allows a 90-minute window for check-in.  If you arrive after your time slot, we cannot guarantee entry. You do not need a printed ticket.  We have all pre-registered ticket information and it will be a paperless check-in.  You will provide your name at check-in to gain entrance to the event.

General Event Rules:

  • Alcohol will NOT be redeemable without a valid ID. You must show your ID to get a wristband at check-in. Wristbands will not be available where beer is being sold.
  • Attendees must be over 18 or accompanied by an adult.
  • No outside food or alcohol permitted inside the event. Bags/backpacks being brought to the event may be inspected. You are welcome to bring dog treats for your own dog.

Dog Rules:

  • Please use good judgment regarding the temperament of your dog so that this event will be safe and enjoyable for everyone. Utah Humane Society reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog whose behavior could be dangerous to others.
  • For safety reasons, retractable leashes, e-collars, shock, prong, or choke collars will NOT be allowed.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Leashes can not be more than six feet in length.
  • If dogs are not wearing the appropriate leash or collar, there will be some available for purchase at check-in. Dogs not wearing the appropriate leash or collar will not be allowed into the event.
  • Dogs are not permitted to be left in vehicles unattended under any circumstances.
  • Participating dogs must be currently licensed with proof of Parvo and Rabies vaccinations. You do not need to bring proof with you; if an incident occurs, you must be able to produce proof in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
  • Dogs younger than six months of age are not permitted.
  • No animals other than dogs will be allowed at the event.
  • Each dog must be handled by an adult.

Human Rules:

  • In the interest of public safety, you will not be allowed into the event without a face covering. If you are not actively eating or drinking, you must have a face covering on.
  • The face-covering must completely cover your nose and mouth.
  • We appreciate your respect and concern for others in attendance at the event. If you do not bring a face covering with you, we will have them available for purchase at check-in.
  • There will be a designated space to eat and drink and that is the only place where it is acceptable to not wear a face covering. You can bring a blanket to set out on the lawn and enjoy your meal.
  • Please respect people's space. Stay at least 6' away from people who are not in your household as much as possible.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree you will not attend the event if you have a fever over 100.4 Fahrenheit or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, such as coughing, headache, or loss of taste or smell. A full list of COVID-19 symptoms can be found on the CDC website.

You hereby acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of COVID-19 exposure in any location where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable to COVID-19. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have had exposure in the last 14 days to someone who has COVID-19, you are prohibited from physically attending Bark at the Moon 2021. 


In the interest of public safety, face coverings will be required at the event.

By attending Bark at the Moon 2021 you and your guests voluntarily assume any and all risks related to COVID-19 and agree to not hold The Utah Humane Society and any of its affiliates, employees, contractors, volunteers, or agents liable for any illness, injury, and/or death that may occur.


We reserve the right to revoke admission to the event if you are unwilling to follow the rules. Contactless payment/credit cards are preferred. We will not have change on site.
